The Subtle Signal of Repeated Numbers

When the spiritual and material world mesh together.

Hello, world! Throughout the trying times that 2020 has been hitting us with, I know that many of us have been turning to spiritual guidance in order to keep ourselves sane. I myself have sought to learn about different spiritual avenues and beliefs in an attempt to understand the different ways people perceive the world.

As I've grown increasingly interested in modern spirituality, I have come to be fascinated with the idea that certain number sequences are signs from the spiritual realm and have a variety of meanings. For example, according to thelawofattraction.com, if you frequently see the repeated numbers "222", that could be a signal to examine the relationships and partnerships in your life. Or if you see "555", it could mean that you are approaching a significant change in your life and to not fear it. It's all very interesting.

Since I wanted to test if repeated numbers would have significant meaning for me, I decided to keep track of any repeated numbers I saw for one month straight, writing them down in my notes. For every day during that month, I saw repeated number sequences, some of them being "222", "444", and "111". I was stunned that I was catching these specific numbers every day and very much so began to attach spiritual meaning to them.

There were definitely times that I had doubts–– what if I I'm just seeing these numbers because I'm subconsciously looking for them? Have I misled myself? On days that I did have these doubts, I tried not to fixate on the potential of seeing repeated numbers that day and avoided even thinking about it. Yet, I still had many moments where I just happened to catch the repeated numbers–– I would randomly look up at the kitchen clock at exactly 4:44 pm, wake up in the middle of the night and pick up my phone at exactly 3:33 am, or just happen to click on a tweet that has 111K retweets. It was all very subtle, but very much there.

Another thing that I noticed was that I would often see repeated numbers when I felt lost or uncertain about something and felt like I needed guidance. If I had just made an important and nerve-racking decision, I would almost always see a repeated sequence almost directly after, sort of like a message from the spiritual realm that meant "good, keep on going."

The thing that really struck me about my experiences with repeated numbers was the automatic inner-knowing that I would have at the moment of seeing the number––I just knew that it wasn't ordinary. It's an instinctual, intuitive feeling that knows exactly why you are seeing that number. I strongly believe in having faith in your gut feelings because we have generations of wisdom and knowledge within us that tend to know things before our conscious minds even think about it. Intuition proved to be a very strong source of knowledge as I attempted to interpret these number sequences. I would just trust my first interpretation of the number and go with it. There needed to be a lack of logic and control on my end to let the universe do its work.

If you do have a spiritual connection with some form of divinity, repeated numbers are an interesting way to ease communication between the spiritual and material world. The fact that these numbers can have deep meaning for some and just be ordinary numbers for others is truly a testament to the many different perceptions of life that humans have. We all find significant meaning in different things and that's what keeps us going!
